Green Gigawatt Partnership (GGP) is an effort to catalyze one gigawatt (GW) of green power development by 2020 by recognizing colleges and universities who have signed long term contracts to purchase green power and providing support to help more campuses enter into large scale power purchase agreements. The Partnership is an initiative of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and was developed in collaboration with a variety of partners.
