Green Gigawatt Partnership (GGP) is an effort to catalyze at least one gigawatt of new green power in higher education by recognizing colleges and universities sourcing large-scale renewable energy and by helping more campuses do the same by using long-term, large-scale, power purchase agreements.

The GGP supports green power in higher education by providing:

  • In-person training workshops
  • Instructional webinars
  • Educational materials
  • Recognition in written, electronic and in-person forums
  • Networking opportunities with peers
  • No-cost assistance to assess large-scale renewables opportunities

AASHE's On-Campus Solar Project Support -- Application Period Is Now Closed

The Green Gigawatt Partnership is providing cost-free support to five campuses to develop and implement on-campus (or near campus) solar projects. Support includes site screening, stakeholder education, RFP development and support, and contract negotiation support.
