Green Gigawatt Partnership (GGP) is an effort to catalyze at least one gigawatt of new green power in higher education by recognizing colleges and universities sourcing large-scale renewable energy and by helping more campuses do the same by using long-term, large-scale, power purchase agreements.

The GGP supports green power in higher education by providing:

  • In-person training workshops
  • Instructional webinars
  • Educational materials
  • Recognition in written, electronic and in-person forums
  • Networking opportunities with peers
  • No-cost assistance to assess large-scale renewables opportunities
